About the Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bulk Herb Shop Associate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for herbs and their uses, and be able to provide excellent customer service to our clients. This person will be responsible for assisting customers with their herb selections, weighing and packaging herbs, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
● Provide excellent customer service to clients, answering questions and providing guidance on herb selection and usage.
● Weigh and package herbs accurately and efficiently.
● Separate and Fill Capsules.
● Bottle and package oils and tinctures.
● Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, including restockingshelves, sweeping, and dusting throughout the day.
● Keep up-to-date with new herbs, products, and industry trends.
● Assist with inventory management and making note when herbs and supplies aregetting low.
● Assist with packaging online and Door dash orders.
● Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with customers and teammembers Requirements:
● Basic knowledge of herbs, including their uses and benefits
● Excellent customer service and communication skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Physical ability to lift and move heavy bags of herbs
● Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysEducation and Experience:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Experience in retail or customer service preferred
* Certification in herbalism or related field is a plus *
